MINING EMERGENCY PROCEDURES

This course provides an overview of emergency procedures in surface mining according to MSHA standards. Participants will learn to identify hazards, prevent incidents, and respond effectively to various emergency situations, such as fires, operational failures, natural disasters, and accidents.

Key topics covered include incident reporting, implementation of Emergency Response Plans (MERPs), communication during emergencies, and coordination with rescue teams. The course also includes first aid fundamentals and proper injury triage.
